As well as providing training to our orchard leaders to look after new community orchards and restore old orchards, we also offer workshops on specific technical skills, such as formative and maintenance pruning, grafting and maybe even cider-making!
Feedback from previous courses:
“Thank you for this. Also thank you so much for the course, it was brilliant. It was the most instructive and useful day as well as being a lot of fun. Really well run and informative. I look forward to returning to do the grafting course in March. Hopefully on a warmer day!”
“Thanks for a great pruning class! I was impressed with your knowledge of the subject and the way you organised the class. It was much more hands on than previous pruning classes I’ve taken, and the hands on part is essential for learning.”
“An impressive number of grafts we did that day have taken, you made it look so easy!”

We regularly hold events to engage and inspire people in orchards and fruit growing. Some of the fantastic events we have held include apple days, wassailing, juicing, cider making, film shows, orchard parties and harvest festivals.
We even took part in an International Apple Festival (read more in our blog)
If you would like us to take part in an event or would like to talk to us about creating something new, please get in touch.
