We’ve just published our latest Impact Report for 2024-25, highlighting our recent work with community orchards across the UK.
From launching our new schools programme and creating London’s first Tiny Orchard, to forming a new corporate partnership with Daylesford Farm and running a Radio 4 Appeal, it’s been an eventful year!
“I always find it both humbling and uplifting to spend time reflecting on what’s been achieved over the past year,” said CEO Kath Rosen. “Our staff team, the communities we work with, and those who help fund us have all contributed to some truly amazing projects that are now bringing hope, joy and increased resilience to our towns and cities.
“I truly believe that the tide is turning, with more people now realising that community orchards aren’t just something that’s ‘nice to have’ – they’re part of the solution to the many challenges we face today: from climate change to social isolation.”

86 new orchards created, improved and supported
301 fruit trees planted
2,319 people trained in orchard management
187 orchard events organised
This report also includes cases studies from Manchester and North Lanarkshire that show how orchard training and planting fruit trees in communities can bring about benefits that often exceed our expectations.
