Bottling our cider with help from our wonderful volunteers
We are delighted to announce that Sustain has crowned The Orchard Project as one of London’s first 50 Urban Food Heroes using food for good.
Recognised for the fruitful work we do to help make London a better place by planting, restoring and supporting its community orchards; training volunteer orchard groups and helping them harvest their delicious fruit; creating traditional craft cider and apple juice with volunteers; giving back produce, money, tools, training and expertise to the orchard communities; then selling the rest to help fund our community orchard work.
It is wonderful to be recognised along with other inspiring organisations.

A big thank you to The Heritage Lottery Fund and lottery players who through their funding have helped make all this possible.
