We’re setting up a juice and cider enterprise, using the donated fruits of community orchards to capture London’s orchards in a drink. And now we need your ideas for what to call it. There’s a box of the first vintage in it for the winner.
Over the past seven years we have supported communities to plant over 100 orchards across London alone and take great pride in knowing these orchards and communities will thrive for generations to come. So in true Orchard Project style, our juice and cider enterprise aims to benefit all the community orchards involved.
Now that we are setting up our juicing and cider enterprise, it only feels right that we bring together a strong community to be involved in it from the start. We have some of the basics already, a premises and equipment for example.
But as yet, no name.
So, we are running a competition to find our name.
We will consider all entries, thin them down to a shortlist and give the naming decision back to you with an online public vote.
We want your ideas for a name that captures the imagination of the beholder, that conveys the fact that so many community orchards will be collaborating to create it, that shows what a unique, hand-crafted blend we will be.
If your suggestion wins the public vote, you will win a box of our 2016 Vintage London juice or cider and the pride of having your winning name on juice and cider across the capital!
No small task then… Get your thinking caps on and share your ideas with us over on Facebook or by email by midday Monday 10th October.
Over to you!
