Join The Orchard Project for a guided workshop in the community orchard in Phillips Park where we will go over general fruit tree maintenance skills. We will prune, mulch and conduct tree health assessments on the recently planted fruit trees.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear outdoor shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Meet at the orchard in Phillip’s Park. The nearest entrance is off of Fairclough Street. The orchard is planted along the path near the Mountain Bike Track (2 Fairclough St, M11 4TN).
This workshop is free of charge thanks to funding from Manchester City Council.
