Wildflower Meadow Planting Party, Glasgow

One of our Helping Britain Blossom orchards in Glasgow, the Alexandra Park Food Forest, are very excited to have been awarded a grant from Earth Action to plant a wildflower meadow in their newly planted Food Forest.

Bring your family along to help plant flowers that will create food for wildlife and look beautiful for all the community to enjoy.

Attracting more pollinating insects will also help the trees produce more fruit!

Schedule

  • 1pm-3.30pm Wildlfower planting
  • 3.30pm-4pm Celebrate our hard work with tea and snacks
  • 4pm-5pm Open Space for people who would like to discuss ideas for future events in the Food Forest and opportunities for community groups, schools and volunteers to get involved

Tools, gloves and hot refreshments provided. Please bring a picnic blanket and some healthy snacks or cakes to share!

Sign up for the event, and find out more details here.
