Weekend Course Series: Orchard Foundations

Two-Day Training on 21st and 22nd Aug, 10am-4pm

King Henry’s Walk Garden, London, N1 4NX

A weekend of orchard basics and practical skill building for budding orchardists.

Join The Orchard Project for a 2 day introduction to orchards and orchard biodiversity, including pests and diseases. You’ll come away from this weekend feeling more confident about getting the best from your fruit trees. Here’s what you’ll be learning:

Saturday with Stephanie Irvine: fruit tree identification; tree physiology, processes and lifecycles; assessing tree health; orchard history.

Sunday with Russell Miller: recognising and boosting biodiversity in orchards; common orchard pests and diseases; promoting tree health.

This training is part of a weekend training series including “Orchard Survey and Design Weekend Course” (18th & 19th September) and “Resilient and Healthy Orchards Weekend Course” (16th & 17th October).
