TEN TON CHALLENGE (Glasgow)

Sat 16th March 1pm - 4pm

Govanhill Community Garden, 79 Coplaw St, G42 7JG

Roll up! Roll up! Come join us at Govanhill’s newest green gym and help us shovel and barrow ten tonnes of soil and compost for our new community orchard. // TUNES FROM DJ STECK // REFRESHMENTS // // PRIZES FOR FASTEST SHOVELLERS // // HELP PLANT OUR FIRST TREE // // COMPETE IN THE GREAT BARRA RELAY //
Please bring a barrow and shovel if you have one.

Where is the garden? Between Coplaw Street and Butterbiggins Road – find us off Coplaw Street, in at the entrance to Govanhill Housing Association (where the old Samaritan Women’s Hospital was). Go right through the car park and the garden is at the back through the gate.

Come back for the main planting on Sat 6 April
