Do you love your local Stockport greenspace or park?
Would you like to learn how to care for and develop an existing community orchard in the borough?
We’re recruiting six focussed ‘Orchard Mentors’ who will be equipped and trained to look after their local community orchard and other sites in the borough of Stockport.
It involves approximately 6-7 days of volunteer time and we’ll train you in Community Orchard Management, Pruning (summer & winter), Scything, Pests & Diseases and a myriad of other skills and workshops with some expert trainers coming along for the journey.
Places are free and have been created through our partnership with Stockport Local Fund.
