Orchard Restoration Scadbury Park, London

Thursday 8th November 10 - 1pm

Scadbury Park Nature Reserve, Chislehurst BR7 6PT

We will be working with the Friends of Scadbury Park to help preserve the veteran apple trees in their relict orchard — what remains of former extensive commercial orchards. We will be clearing brambles and pruning other trees that are shading the fruit trees and stopping light getting to them. Tools and refreshments provided. Wear appropriate clothing.

We will be meeting at 10am at Scadbury Farm in the north of the park. Enter the park on Perry Street and continue down the main path towards the Shaw Trust Tree Centre and Scadbury Manor.

Any problems call Stephanie on 07753 237267.
