Orchard Pests and Diseases (Edinburgh)

Saughton Park


A workshop to focus on the pests and diseases found in orchards.

Join national fruit expert Clifford Cain from Fruitscape, where we will learn how to identify orchard pest and disease and best ways to encourage orchard health.

Format of the workshop is to include:

  • Presentation in the McHattie Room, Saughton Park
  • A walk about in the orchard of trained trees
  • Q and A. Opportunity to ask Clifford any questions, also attendees are invited to bring along any samples of unidentified diseased plants (in zip lock bags!) or photos of problems.)

Workshop to start at McHattie Room, enter Saughton Park by Ford’s Road.

Donations to event costs welcome on the day.
