Join The Orchard Project for a guided workshop in the community orchard in Newton Heath where we will go over general fruit tree maintenance skills. We will prune, mulch and conduct tree health assessments on the recently planted fruit trees.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear outdoor shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Meet at the orchard located in the playing field at the end of Hapsford Walk, M40 2AL. The orchard is planted near the Rochdale canal at the end of the playing field near the shipping container.
This workshop is free of charge thanks to funding from Manchester City Council.
