Join The Orchard Project this Valentines Day to show fruit trees some love! This is a free guided workshop in the community orchard in Kenworthy Woods. We will go over general fruit tree maintenance skills. We will prune, mulch and conduct tree health assessments on the recently planted fruit trees.
Meet at Kenworthy Woods Orchard at 10am. Please note it takes around 10mins to walk there from the Chorlton Water Park car park, so please arrive with plenty of time. Access is also available down Willenhall Rd. Conveniently, Kenworthy orchard shows up as ‘ The Orchard’ when looking at Kenworthy woods on Google Maps.
Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.
