Hainault Lodge
This will be an opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself and with the environment around you. When we are being mindful we bring awareness to the present moment and this can help us to feel calm, less stressed and it quietens our busy minds. When we are mindful in nature we find that we are able to be in the present moment much quicker than if we were indoors. This is because nature offers us an abundance of beauty, and our natural curiosity is heightened by the sights, sounds and smells that the natural environment has to offer. At the end of the session you will feel lighter, less stressed and have a sense that of connection to something bigger than yourself.
The workshop is being led by Claire Morris a qualified mindfulness teacher who teaches from her own personal mindfulness experience developed over 10 years.
The £5 fee is returnable on your arrival. We have received funding from the GLA to do this training so please only book a place if you fully intend on coming.
Meet at entrance to car park of Redbridge Cycling Centre on Forest Road. To get there by public transport get the 247 bus from Hainault underground to Forest Road.
