22nd July 2019, 1-4pm
Edible Landscapes London, Finsbury Park, London N4 2NQ
Feeling connected to nature has been shown to be beneficial to well-being and pro-environmental behaviour. Come on this three-hour workshop to:
– discover new practices for developing a deep nature connection
– play games that will use all your senses to increase your awareness
– find out how direct experience, rather than knowledge, will provoke your curiosity
You will take away simple and inspiring experiences that will be useful for you and could easily be shared with others.
Examples of the games and practices we’ll be enjoying: making sniff cocktails, deep surface diving and leaf listening. The shape of the session will be based on natural flow learning cycles (https://www.slideshare.net/ChrisHolland48/natural-cycles-flow-learning-by-chris-holland).
Please bring appropriate clothing for being outside for 3 hours and check the weather. You may also want to bring a snack and a drink.
The £5 fee is returnable on your arrival. We have received funding from the GLA to do this training so please only book a place if you fully intend on coming.
