Celebrate Earth Day at the GROWE Centre learning about orchard biodiversity!
There will be presentations, hands on workshops, and orchard tours. Learn about the benefits of fruit tree guilds (similar to companion planting) followed by a hands-on guild planting workshop, led by permaculture educator, Teresa Periera.
Come and practice the ancient art of tree grafting. Participants will be able to take home a grafted apple tree.

9:30am-2:30pm (limited space, must register)
3-4pm Orchard Celebration (open to all)

The GROWE centre is located at the end of Marlborough Road. At the end of the road there is a drive to the left towards the canal that leads to a small parking area for the GROWE centre.
