Ouzlewell Green – 10am-3.30pm

Jonathan Dent from St Nicks in York will help you learn to scythe and how to use this traditional skill to manage grasslands and meadows, particularly in an orchard setting. The course will teach you how to set up the scythe to suit you, efficient mowing techniques, sharpening and peening.
Cost: £20 for orchard carers. £50 for others.
