To celebrate National Tree Week*, why not join The Orchard Project & SNUG to help us plant a native hedgerow in the new Orchard Garden at Crowcroft Park? We are converting a bowling green into a vibrant community space full of fruit trees, herbs, and a native hedgerow!
Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear outdoor shoes, and bring a water bottle. Light snacks and refreshments will be available, but please bring a packed lunch.
When: Sat Nov 25th from 10am to 2pm
Meet at the bowling green in Crowcroft Park. The nearest entrance is off of East Road M12 5QY.
*National Tree Week marks the start of the tree planting season and is a chance to celebrate the many benefits trees bring to our towns and cities. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the ‘Plant a Tree in 73’ campaign and the creation of The Tree Council.
