Tuesday 8th September 10:30 - 15:00
Oak Hill College, Chase Side, Southgate, London N14 4PS
Join us for a lovely wholesome day picking apples in a beautiful traditional orchard in the grounds of Oak Hill College, London.
On this one day workshop you will:
- Get the practical experience of harvesting fruit
- Connect with nature, and try lots of yummy apples including some rare heritage varieties
- Help community orchards in London to harvest their fruit and stop it going to waste
In return for the apples you help pick the local orchard group will get back cider, tools and training to help them care for their trees.
It’s useful to know…
- The training will be outdoors, so bring appropriate clothing and a packed lunch
- We will be following the current government guidance for outdoor events. Please keep an eye on your inbox for any on-the-day changes.
- You bring a cup and we will bring the coffee
- We will provide delicious Clearspring organic snacks
If you would like to make a donation for a lovely day out in an orchard and support the work we do we would be incredibly grateful. You can make this online (please reference the harvest name and date) or bring cash on the day.
Please let us know in advance if you are unable to make it, spaces are limited and we need all the apple picking power we can get.
