Graft Your Own Apple or Pear Tree Workshop

Tuesday, 27th March 2018, 19:30 – 21:00 BST

Lilac Grove Common House. Victoria Park Avenue, Leeds. LS5 3AG

Come along to our workshop and learn how to magically create apple trees to the size and variety you want. Grafting means you can be sure of the variety of fruit and the size of the tree. In the workshop we will learn how easy grafting can be by having a go at creating your own fruit trees. All instructions and materials will be provided, although if you can bring some “scion” material – this is fresh prunings of the vigorous growth from last year- that would be helpful.

The workshop will be led by Alan Thornton who has been successfully grafting hundreds of trees for more than 10 years.

The £5 donation will cover the cost of 2 rootstocks for you to take away for your orchard or garden.
