Are you passionate about transforming your local green space? Froebels orchard is a 100 year old orchard in the lush green campus of Roehampton University. We are working with staff, students and local residents to celebrate this unique habitat and restore the old apple trees growing there.

Froebel Orchard Workday and Harvest, Autumn 2017
During this workshop you will:
- Learn how to prune older fruit trees
- Develop your understanding of common veteran tree management challenges from vigorous trees to trees in poor condition.
- Discover the appropriate tools for pruning older trees
- Gain practical experience of pruning to look after trees at Froebels and elsewhere
Bear in mind that …
- The training will be outdoors, so bring appropriate clothing.
- Bring a packed lunch – we will provide hot drinks
- Meet outside The Hive cafe, 29 Roehampton Lane, London SW15 5PJ
- If you cannot attend the full workshop but would still like to attend, please book a drop in place
