Sunday 5th June - 1pm - 4pm
Bridgwater Community Garden Manchester, East Philip Street, M3 7LE
You’re in for a royal welcome at this Jubliee-themed nature event in Manchester!
This family-friendly community event has plenty of treats in store for everyone – from treasure hunts and edible planters to creating crowns adorned with natural materials from around the orchard.
There will also be a BBQ and scones to celebrate the Jubilee in style and free carbon-neutral orange juice from innocent.
Only a few years ago, this orchard was neglected and hidden under brambles until a group of local residents, with help from Dan from The Orchard Project, unearthed it and saved the site from development. It’s well worth a visit to see the amazing work they’ve done to restore this community resource.
