Sunday 10th February
Sidings Orchard, Heaton Mersey, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Sidings orchard won ‘Best Community Orchard Based Event’ at our prestigious awards ceremony at the end of 2018. The HMVCG team do a fantastic job of looking after this space and their consistent upkeep of this fabulous venue. Yes, we see community orchards as venues for all kinds of activity, year round. This time of year it’s all hands on deck (well, trees!) for the winter pruning. We’re planning two days as there are now over 100 trees that need attention.
