Lynda Higgs from the Friends of group and Cannon Hall’s Sharon Sutton will show us around the orchard set within 70 acres of historic parkland in the Pennine foothills.

Exhibition: Pears & Apples: The Botanical illustration of Elisabeth Dowle
‘Elisabeth Dowle is one of the world’s most respected and talented Botanical Artists. For the very first time her beautiful watercolours of Pears & Apples will be on display in the elegant exhibition rooms at Cannon Hall Museum. The exhibition will showcase Elisabeth’s beautiful illustrations from the Pear & Apple collection’

Lunch: Please bring your own picnic lunch (and perhaps something to share?) and join us on the lawn for a chance to chat with other West Yorkshire orchard folk! There is the Farm deli and restaurant next door, and opposite the main car park is the Garden Centre for you to extend your visit if you wanted to.

After lunch you may fancy exploring the grounds further, having a look around the museum (free entry).

Please car share where possible.

Parking: main car park, £3 all day
