Art in the Orchards: Map Making with Christopher Goddard
Join us for an introduction to map making with the Yorkshire Map Maker Christopher Goddard.
To launch The Orchard Project’s series of art events within orchards across West Yorkshire, we’re heading to the incredible Otley Chevin Orchard Project and the surrounding forest park.
Tickets: Eventbrite
Meeting at the Otley Chevin Education Centre (next to the White House Cafe). We’ll try out a series of mapping exercises and create maps of the area, starting within the orchard itself and then moving on to explore the forest park.
Please dress for the weather, wear suitable shoes for walking, and bring your lunch. Please bring a clipboard (or something to lean on) and any drawing materials you may want to use. We will provide paper and a selection of pens and pencils.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.
Please get in touch if you have access issues to discuss how we can involve you fully in this event.
