Help us keep Local Fox Cider alive and fermenting!
Saving the world one unloved piece of fruit at a time…
We’ve been making community-powered cider from London’s rescued, surplus fruit since 2016. The project has gone from strength to strength, even starting to receive donations from commercial supply chains. What better way to use up waste apples & quench the thirst of London’s craft cider fans! Not many beverages can claim to be upskilling the local community and rescuing London’s neglected fruit.
Due to funding streams coming to an end, we’ve had to find alternative means to keep our innovative Community Cider Hub open and continue to produce our scrumptious drinks. In October 2018, we asked our volunteers and supporters to hold community fundraising events, and in November 2018, we ran a Crowdfunding campaign to save Local Fox. Our efforts were successful and we raised over £18,000.

We still need further funds to establish our drinks on the market, upscale the project commercially and continue to reduce London’s wasted fruit. Feeling inspired?
