We are the only national charity dedicated solely to the creation, restoration and celebration of community orchards.
Any volunteer role at The Orchard Project means being part of a friendly and supportive team, working to create a legacy of orchards which will be blossoming and producing fruit for generations.
We are currently looking for a Fundraising Volunteer.
This is a great opportunity to join The Orchard Project’s friendly and welcoming team as a Fundraising Volunteer. The main purpose of the role will be to help raise money from UK Trusts and Foundations and grow our membership base, to fund our charitable work.
The volunteer position will appeal to someone who is keen to develop or broaden their charity or fundraising experience, or who wishes to gain experience of the environmental sector. Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work, and we hope that we can support you in achieving your ambitions.
The Orchard Project is the only organisation solely dedicated to the creation, rejuvenation and celebration of community orchards in the UK. Our vision is that in every city, town and village across the country, every home is within easy-reach of productive, well-cared-for, community-run orchards. These orchards are making a significant contribution to the country’s fruit and nut provision, improving health and wellbeing, building community resilience, nurturing skills and providing cherished, nature-rich, community spaces used by a wide range of people.
