We are the only national charity dedicated solely to the creation, restoration and celebration of community orchards.
Volunteering for The Orchard Project
Volunteer roles sometimes occur within our office-based team, such as in fundraising, event management or communications. Volunteering at The Orchard Project means being part of a friendly and supportive team, working to create a legacy of orchards which will be blossoming and producing fruit for generations.
We don’t currently have any volunteer roles available, but please keep an eye on this page and our social media channels for updates.
Volunteering at a community orchard
If you prefer getting your hands dirty to sitting in an office, volunteering on the ground for a community orchard group is a great way to keep active, learn about fruit trees and feel part of your local community. We also have volunteer days at our Community Cider Hub. Please see our Events listings page for workshops and volunteering opportunities. Through attending these, you can meet our project managers, connect to your local community orchard and speak to their leaders about getting involved more regularly. We support community orchard groups in Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham and London.
