Project Manager Swansea (2 positions available)

We are recruiting in Swansea!

This is a great opportunity to join The Orchard Project’s team, working with local communities to create and restore community orchards. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will be helping to improve the environment, build community resilience, wellbeing and food security in our brilliant network of orchards.

This is a part-time (3 days a week) flexible role based in Swansea. It will involve regular travel to orchard sites across Swansea and surrounding area where you will be working with community groups to plant and restore orchards, engage and train volunteers and run community events. Your skills in community engagement and project management are just as important as your tree care skills.

We are recruiting two project managers, who will work closely together to deliver this orcharding programme that has been funded by the Moondance Foundation.

To apply, please click the following link to read the job description and send us a full copy of your CV, plus an anonymised copy of your CV, our equal opportunities form (click person specification for the form) and a cover letter of no more than two sides of A4. See the Job Description for more details on anonymised CVs.

We want our organisation to be as diverse as the communities it supports. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, sex, age or disability.

Send applications orchard@theorchardproject.org.uk

The closing date for applications is midnight, 28th June 2020. Interviews are expected to be held on the 9th July. We expect this role to start at some point in August but due to the current crisis with Covid-19, we are having to adapt the way we work so this may change.
