This is a great opportunity to join The Orchard Project’s team, working with local communities to create and restore community orchards. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will be helping to improve the environment, build community resilience, wellbeing and food security in our brilliant network of orchards.
This is a part-time (3 days a week) flexible role based in Swansea. It will involve regular travel to orchard sites across Swansea and surrounding area where you will be working with community groups to plant and restore orchards, engage and train volunteers and run community events. Your skills in community engagement and project management are just as important as your tree care skills.
We are recruiting two project managers, who will work closely together to deliver this orcharding programme that has been funded by the Moondance Foundation.
