We are recruiting for a paid intern to help in The Orchard Project’s Cider House. The main purpose of the role will be to help to assist the Drinks Enterprise Manager to produce saleable cider and juice products that are ready to go to market. You will get involved in sourcing fruit, setting up and maintaining equipment, following food safe production processes, monitoring the cider, sampling and developing of the final product, and taking the product to market, both through indirect sales (retailers) and direct sales (markets and festivals).
The position will appeal to someone who is keen to develop or broaden their experience of sustainable food production, social enterprise or who wishes to gain experience of the environmental sector.

We are offering £10.55/hour plus lunch expenses. The role is 2 days/week for 6 months.
